Noticed the noise floor drop right away on my IEMs once I switched to the balanced 4.4mm plug. The 4-pin lock keeps the cable from twisting loose in my pocket, which was my main gripe before. Well worth it if your player supports hardware decoding.

Swapped the stock 3.5mm plug for this and my IEMs immediately sounded cleaner, especially the low end. The cable's silver-plated copper build feels sturdy too, no microphonics when I move around. Distortion is basically inaudible even at higher volumes.

The 8-100Ω impedance matching actually made a difference with my IEMs — quieter background and tighter bass than the plug I was using before. The 4-pin lock on the cable is rock solid too, no wobble when I move around. Genuinely happy with this little upgrade.
